How ACE Virtual Shooting Has Improved My Performance On The Range And Enhanced My Practice At Home.

Recently, I purchased ACE VR and have been using it for the past couple of months.  ACE VR is a realistic shooting game that allows me to practice dry firing, competition shooting, target transitions, visual acuity, tempo of trigger presses, and so much more. Dry fire has always been a very important part of my development, but it can get stale and even boring occasionally. This tool is exactly what I have been looking for. Designed with real USPSA stages I can practice what I want and how I want from inside my house while having a blast doing it. From what I can tell now,  my recorded times in this game match my real-life logbook times on the range. My biggest takeaways are draw-to-first shot times and drills, processing the sights, target transitions, and stage plans.  Of course, there is no recoil or real reloads, but I can make that up on the range. For the money invested in the gun, the VR glasses, and a 1-year subscription to the game, it equaled approximately $850. However, it is 1000% worth it in my opinion. From the time I received this game to now, I have shot over 55,000 rounds and over 4000 courses of fire. Look for more on ACE VR down the road.

Here are side-by-side comparisons of my times on the virtual range and the physical range! The first clip is a real-time example, and the second clip is a slow-motion example to prove that my times are the same in both spaces.
