Skillz&Drillz - The RE Factor Kill Card Challenge

The RE Factor Kill Card Challenge is designed to test your pistol shooting capabilities. This drill, which is completed on an Essential Target from RE Factor Tactical, will test your speed, accuracy, trigger manipulations, and reload times.  If you have purchased The Quiet Professional’s Logbook from our website, go to Section 3 and enter this drill into your book. Add up your core times (the draw, split, and reload), and solidify a goal for your projected time. Then, try this challenge and document the difference.

Course of Fire:

• The shooter starts facing downrange, at a target that’s five yards away, with their pistol holstered.

• The shooter may have their hands either in the surrender position or with their hands down by their sides, but they MAY NOT  \have their hand starting on the weapon.

• The weapon will have one round chambered in the gun and one round in the loaded magazine that’s prepped in the gun

•  The shooter will also have two magazines on their side, one loaded with four rounds and one loaded with two rounds.

  
  

On the buzzer, the shooter draws and fires two rounds to the #1 circle, reloads, fires four rounds to the #7 rectangle, reloads, and fires two rounds to the #12 rectangle.

Now, we are going to make a modification to this drill. If you do not want to purchase a target to try this, download the following Essential Target MOD and set up this drill the same way.

For the modified challenge, on the buzzer, the shooter draws and fires two rounds to the #15 circle, reloads, fires four rounds to the #12 rectangle, reloads, and fires two rounds to the #14 rectangle.
