Service Description
In this (2) Day Instructor - Level class we will walk you through how to navigate running a slide mounted optic on your handgun. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a red dot, help you navigate obstacles like water/fog/mud, and build your confidence in the use of your optic. If you are a Firearms Instructor looking to build an optics program for your department, this course will give you the tools to do so. Day 1 - 0900 - 2200 hrs (lunch & dinner breaks) Day 2 - 0900-1700 hrs (lunch break) Covered Topics: Zeroing distances Advantages and Disadvantages Gun Setup Use of Suppressor Sights Overcoming Potential Obstacles Acceptable Sight Picture One Handed Operations Shooting on the Move Low Light Techniques Basic & Advanced Shooting Techniques Use of Cover Materials Needed: 1200 rounds of handgun ammo, a notepad, handheld flashlight or weapon mounted and gun with a red dot mounted on it / range gear.
